In the early 70s, activist Angela Davis was sought by the FBI. Come learn about her work for justice and celebrate the anniversary of her acquittal in June 1972 with a screening of a documentary about African-American women activists, A Place of Rage, and Coco Fusco's a/k/a Mrs. George Gilbert. This event will also launch a contest soliciting remixes of songs about Angela by John Lennon/Yoko Ono and the Rolling Stones.
